Raise a glass and roll out the tartan for a proper Robbie Burns Day celebration packed with music, movement, and legendary comfort food.
Feel the floor thrum as the Saskatoon Highland Dance Association and the spirited Glenlily Dancers bring centuries of tradition to life with sharp footwork and flying kilts. The night hums along to the toe-tapping, grin-inducing sounds of the Back of the Bus Band, serving up lively tunes that make it hard to stay in your seat.
And then there’s the feast. A hearty dinner worthy of a poet includes classic haggis with neeps and tatties, followed by the grand finale: rich, warm sticky toffee pudding that could make even the sternest Scot swoon.
It’s an evening of rhythm, revelry, and robust flavours. Come for the culture, stay for the pudding, and leave with a tune in your head and a smile you can’t quite shake.

From the groundbreaking facial reconstructive work of Harold Gillies and the many other “facemakers” and mask makers to the remarkable brotherhood of The Guinea Pig Club in WWII, Kevin’s talk explores how medical innovation and human resilience transformed lives shattered by war. Presented in partnership with the Nutana Legion and the Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts, this special fundraising event honours those who rebuilt not just faces, but hope itself.

In partnership with the German Canadian Concordia Club we are presenting Oktoberfest 2025 at Nutana Legion. The festivities kick off at 1:00 pm with a Grand March. There will be activities in both the lounge and the hall. The hall will feature displays and deserts and coffee will be available. On the lounge side we will have entertainment throughout the afternoon. Both the senior and junior dance groups will perform as well as German music by Syl White and Neil Stubbs. German beer will be available at the bar. Food will be served from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Your choice of bratwurst on a bun or pork cutlet on a bun. Authentic German potatoe salad and sauerkraut will be available as sides and pretzels will be available at the bar. There is no admission charge for this event - come out and support your Legion and the Concordia Club through purchasing beverages, food and desert.
